I had a friend i used to go to school with. He ended up leaving and i kept in touch with with him by fone. This was ok fore a while then i think he lost his number becuse i tried foning him and it wouldent get through and i havent heard froom him since. I still miss him some times becaus we used to chat to each otuer fore ages on the fone. I still wonder if i would ever seehim again. Has any one ever been in the same sort of situation if so did you try and get back in touch?
I've been in several situations like that. I had made some friends when I had used to work at a school for severely disabled students, and then when I used to go to 3 different schools to mentor students in the Special Ed. classes, and then at my high school's Special Ed. classes. For that school and my high school, I visited several times, but once the students left or graduated, there wasn't much I could do as far as keeping in contact as I couldn't just look them up and didn't even know there parents, and of course, the teachers normally don't keep up with them either. And as for the 3 other classes, some other students in the class/program I was in had to ruin it by braking some rules, so we suddenly just stopped going. I regret that I probably could've called the teachers of the students I helped to see how the students were doing, or visiting sometime, but it just didn't cross my mind then. SO now I'm thinking one's either in high school or has graduated, the other should be in high school, and the others are probably still in elementary or middle school. I still think about them of course, and hope that we'll see each other sometime again.

When I was in my former school, I had a friend like that. At the beginning we were unseperable! She needed me because I was the only one who really understood her. Later our friendship broke up and began again. Now shortly before I went to my new school it ended, without a reason. I sent her a letter in my new school, I heard that she got it, but she never wrote back. I gave up then.
